With customers, clients or staff, make a conscious effort to see the win from their eyes and ensure that they are emotionally bought into the outcome.

Sure you can sell somebody something they don’t want, manipulate or force someone to buy an idea, product or service, but in my mind that is anything but successful. Be successful by making other people successful first – its fun!
