In Sales things continually seem to be moving to more casual with clothing attire – but not everywhere! Just because your customer is in jeans and a t-shirt may not mean its ok for you to dress the same.
Instead wear an outfit that can be dressed up or dressed down easily and comfortably. First impressions do count so take heed! If appropriate you can also migrate to being more casual as the relationship grows, but play it safe at the beginning – look smart and do your customer dress attire due-diligence beforehand! Remember first impressions do count!
