As a young lad I was always energetic and always pushing for more. As an adult I was much the same. Even all the way through to being in Executive Sales. I learned ways of thinking and doing. Some ways were smart and some not so smart. But raw horsepower was always my ally. Always working harder and longer than most.
As I turned 40 I realized there must be better ways of doing the things that most Senior Sales Executives simply have to do. And so that epiphany set me on a quest to learn, to grow and to try and garner a little sage wisdom along the way.
Having done that now in 7 countries, 3 continents and companies ranging from multi-nationals to start-ups, its now time to give back in a way that feels appropriate, collabarative and rewarding.
One of my driving passions was to grow superb, winning sales teams and share what I knew. Now I do the same for the progressive Sales Executives who realize that change is constant, and being ahead of the change is exactly where the winners always are!
Your successful. You’ve made it through the ranks and reached Executive Sales status. It started great. The best place in the world to be. Your were excited. You were energetic. It was all new!
Then a constant push from your CEO and Board to deliver better results every quarter no matter what, started wearing thin. The competition likely increased along the way. And your own team most-likely had a few mis-steps causing strained customer and internal relationships. Welcome to Sales Leadership!
